We walked in close to 11am on a Sunday and there was a spare high table and seating along the bar area. The waitress looked at us and basically said there was no room. She double checked and then asked if we wanted to sit on the bar which we were fine with. We waited a long time for menus and a long time to then have our order taken. The high table remained vacant behind us and we were offered to move here after a little while.
We ordered hot drinks and these came out not too long after we ordered but this is where it got worse.
We had finished drinks and were still waiting a long time for our food. We started seeing people who were seated after us receiving their meals and after nearly 1 hour, a waitress came to us and asked whether we were still waiting on anything to which we replied yes!
The point of sale system was blammed for our food order not going through and we were told that it happens at least once on a Sunday which should be something that’s fixed if it’s a constant issue. We were then asked if we still wanted our food which was a yes as we were hungry! The waffles and poached eggs with a side of avo came out within a flash after this and were quite nice but service was a big let down.
Our hot drinks however were taken off the bill for the inconvenience.
