Great local Thai restaurant. Were seated pretty quickly and were served our meals in probably under 5 minutes. Food was very fresh and tasty! Definitely recommend for a cheap healthy night out.

The best Thai in Warrnambool. Valuable, fresh and tasty. Especially the stay chicken skewers. strong favor of peanuts stay sauce. The Padthai is too spicy as well as Pineapples fried rice. It is absolutely normal than Melbourne Thai, but for a small town, it is the best already.

The food overall was good, i love the chicken skewer and pad thai, my sis love the fish salad (larb pla tod), for me it was too sour. Kids love their colourful jelly with vanilla ice cream on top, service was depend on whos serving as some was friendly, some was not really and one was a trainee and hes a bit confused. Portion was good for the price.

My score 3 stars.  We lived near Warrnambool for 9 months over late spring/summer/autumn & into early winter.  We had lunch here 4 times over May/June.  Our “go to Asian place” the Leibig Thai & Asian was closed for a month while they visited family in Thailand, so we needed an alternative.  Décor was a distinctive mauve & purple, inside was clean & tidy.  It was quite full each time – not sure how many punters were there for the same reason as us?  Staff were friendly – we got a complimentary serve of Cassava crackers (each time), so that was nice!  The lunch dishes are cheaper than the menu shown above, but are smaller serves.  We always started with (J’s favs) curry puffs – quite small, but good flavour & pastry.  We tried most of the curries, plus other dishes & there was a common theme throughout.  Firstly, curries really sweet.  Our waiter agreed dishes were intentionally sweetened up & that it wasn’t how she would have them at home.  Also, some curries had too many Kaffir lime leaves, which were overpowering & put the dish out of balance IMO.  Secondly, across all dishes, none of the vegetables were crisp – it was as if they had been pre-softened before going into the wok (not what I expect from Thai food).  Nothing we ordered was particularly spicy except Pad spicy noodle, which had some serious bursts of heat when you got a chilli!  Overall > Not our cup of tea, but if you like a sweeter/creamier curry & veggies that don’t crunch, CT offers reasonable value at lunchtime.
