This place has a great vibe and a very contemporary design. 5 of us checked in for brunch – my benny was a bit cold when served but no complaints from the others who I dined with. No real standout dishes apart from the chicken salad and the coffee was on par.

The Big brekkie was always my go to meal at this place and I absolutely loved it. Every cafe needs a big brekkie right? They have now taken it off the menu and replaced with something along the lines of a team brekkie which is the SAME price for less food. I queried this to the store manager I assume, and he said people always left food on their plate so we changed it…….. okay so youre giving the customer TOO MUCH bang for their buck. Thats terrible. Quick remove majority of the ingredients but leave the price the same. Not loving this decision and probably wont go back unless the big brekkie is added back to the menu.

Clean, crisp feel to the cafe. Just got my regular soy latte & a carrot cake for the road.
Would need to try a proper sit down meal for next time.

A lovely interior with lovely service. As for the food, I would not recommend. I had the vegan rice salad which tasted like pure soy. Im not sure what type of cream-like sauce they put in the rice, but it tasted like the tofutti cream cheese (which is horrendous and overpowering). The dish only had three main ingredients (a tiny bit of pumpkin, spinach and rice) and was meant to have tofu but was not served it. I asked the waitress and she was super nice about this and got the chef to cook some straight away. That said, this was still a very disappointing dish that was not worth $18.
As for the chips… amazing! 10 out of 10.
Aside from these chips, not much else would draw me back to this cafe. A pretty place doesnt seem to make up for a lack of good food.

What a busy little place! Good vibe and a gem tucked away in Watsonia. The staff were lovely and although busy they had time for a smile and a quick chat.
    Great coffee!
I’m always happy to wait that little bit longer for the barista to do their job well. The grind and extraction takes time!
    Happy to return

Visited this cafe on Thursday. The food and coffee was great, however it was the atmosphere that will have me coming back again! The staff were friendly and welcoming and the cafe was full of a great mix of people including professionals, couples, and families. I had my 6 month old son with me and at times it can be hard to find cafes where you feel welcome with a baby/pram, but the staff found us a great table with room for the pram and were attentive throughout.
