So very sad to see the end of Red Pepper in Werribee. Went last night for our normal take-out order to find it had changed to Golden Palace. Rice was terrible which used to be my favorite. We were over charged (although I did figure out that it was because they had written down the order incorrectly). We ate about a third of our order and threw the rest away. Now looking for a new option after nearly 7 years of going exclusively to Red Pepper for our take-out treat.
This place is now called Golden Palace. New management and new chef. The food is now a disaster. I had sweet and sour prawns. The prawns were dry and tasted like they were off. Every meal was very bland. Never again.
Don’t waste your time and money. Ridiculous service! Only been twice, one time was mother’s day and the other just regular day. Both times absolutely ridicilous waiting time for food to arrive. Food is ok, not bad but wouldn’t call fantastic either and too pricey. Could get better food and better service elsewhere. I will not come back do not recommend this place at all!
Shocking service. The food was beautiful however it took over 40 min to get drinks, 45 min to get two steam dim SIM, another 45 min for mains which hubbys came first my was 15 min later. Ice cream took 40 min to arrive from ordering and to paid was a 15 min process. Beautiful food…..very hard process!!!! Went out for relaxing meal….not what we got. We should have been like other customers who up and left!!!!
Second to none!. Lovely Service, Tasty Food, and priced accordingly. Plus they do home delivery! What more can you ask for?!
Best char hor fun going around, real prawns, squid. Quick and freindly takeaway service! Give glory a miss, this is the real deal!
