Went there for dinner the entree was cold dry chicken and not very appetizing next was the fish for the main meal. My question is who gets fish wrong? This is the first place where the outside was dry and overcooked and the inside of the fish was too oily. I will admit the service was fine but extremely slow. The saving grace was the plum pudding and ice cream this was good. That said however, the experience was disappointing and considering the competition in the local area I would have expected a lot better.
Not good enough. Went there for dinner on a Monday night and was appalled at the food. 2 of the 3 steaks were over cooked while the other steak was the wrong steak. Lamb fillets on the specials menu was horribly dry. Took over half an hour once meals were finished for them to come and clear the tables and another half hour to be asked if we were interested in deserts.
Will definitely not be back
While there is a good atmosphere, apart from the junkies being kicked out of the gaming room, the food was basic and flavorless. The Chicken Parma was large and made of reasonable quality chicken but there was no flavor and I think I injured my jaw chewing it.. The mash potatoes continued the flavorless experience, and although included on the menu the veggies were a flavorless extra. The wait staff were great and well presented.
Christmas carols in May were an interesting choice of dining music ..
Husband & I went for Thursday buffet. Will not go again. Food was awful. Salad bar is ok. The chicken satay is tough and dry, most of the food is not tasty. Regretted going there and wasted the $45 .
Slow service. We tried their restaurant last night, it wasn’t overly busy, but we had to wait over an hour for mains and then one meal was luke warm & the other was under cooked! and on top of that it wasn’t anything special. we tried a month ago and we waited an hour for dessert to turn up, in the end we just cancelled.
last night, the table next to us got their entree’s and were just starting to eat them when their mains arrived!!
we won’t be back!!!
I agree. Went to the club for mothers day lunch after reading the reviews the food and service was very good and the staff there where very polite , then we thought we’d have a flutter on the pokies thats where met a very rude person who works there a man called alec he should learne some manners when talking to females that was the only disappointing part of the day

Observant. Will start with the service , basically the service by the staff leaves a lot to be desired there arrogant and disrespectful especially a fellow called allec he was so rude to me and my friends he basically said if you dont like my attitude leave and dont come back we dont need and want scum like youse here so piss off, then well talk about the food basically wasent bad the staff seem to be nicer there the other fellow worked in the pokies next door ,you know won of the people in our group said the fellow was rude i said no ones that rude but im sorry im wrong he is very rude
Fantasic. We go here pretty much every Wednesday, food is always Fantastic and the service is even better!!
