Inside Werribee Open Range Zoo (must purchase a ticket to Zoo to enter restaurant). Offers sustainable, seasonal dining at its very best with unique views of African animals. You can sit inside and watch the playful meerkats, or take advantage of our large sunny deck overlooking the gorilla island exhibit. The Bistro's delicious family friendly meals are freshly made, using herbs from our own garden and local produce when possible, including fresh-baked breads and pastries from the Zoo's in-house bakery. The family-friendly menu includes soups served with Zoo bakery rolls, a selection of salads and fresh sandwiches, as well as more substantial meals, such as our international dishes and daily specials. Enjoy a glass of wine, beer, soft drink, juice, quality coffee or hot chocolate. Our kids' menu has all the universal favourites, including fish and chips, pastas, burger and chips, with salads and vegetable sides as well as an array healthier of desserts designed for small stomachs.
