If I could give a score of zero or negative I would. Firstly, we waited for 2 hours for our food, no apology for the wait and staff didn’t seem to understand every time we told them we had been waiting a long time. We ordered Peking duck, sweet n sour pork, fried rice, sizzling Mongolian beef, seafood birds nest, and chicken oyster sauce. Food was average and fried rice lacked in flavour. We then ordered fried ice cream for dessert and one of us found an eggshell in the ice cream. When we informed the staff, there was no apology and she simply said ‘that’s what happens when the shell falls in the batter of the ice cream’ no apology what so ever. When we went to pay, and informed the manager we waited 2 hours he yelled at us saying things like ‘well other people and had to wait longer than you, you can see we’re busy it’s not our fault’ no apology what so ever and we were yelled at because we complained having to wait so long for our food. No compensation for the wait, we were just yelled at and spoken to like we were in the wrong. I would never return here again!

Ordered some fried rice and the chefs specials. Probably the most ordinary fried rice I can remember having over the past 5 years. There were some really processed bits of cubed ham in the rice and it lacked flavour altogether. Very disappointing. The mains were better though but still not that amazing. We had the Cantonese steak and the chicken lemongrass. The former was too sweet and the latter did not taste like it contained lemongrass. I expected the lemongrass chicken to taste fresh but this wasnt the case unfortunately.

Hi I’ve been coming here for over 20 yrs as I love a lot of the dishes available.
Heaps of flavour in most dishes.
    Sang chow bow
    Lemongrass chicken
And most of the stuff in the chefs specials are the ones to pick from.

I do have a few negatives that I would love them to fix.

    1.
The fried rice is probably the worst in werribee. I normally buy this from another place on the way home cause thiers is so bland with little squares of ham in it. A trip past Pho128 in watton or even master wok in synnott for rice is just a better option. It’s a bit of a pain though.

    2
Chinese restaurant, then how about offering Chinese beer.
I love a good Tsingtao with some Chinese food. I real letdown for the restaurant.

Anyway I hope they read this and make a few small changes as MayMee at the Plaza is looking like a better option as it might be time for as change.
