The Coffee Pot Cafe

  • Clean cafe, has plenty of seat as they have an outdoor area at the back. The dissapointment came after I was served with burnt ham and cheese croissan…

  • Ordered the fish and chips, what a joke... one piece of fish which was a piece of frozen fish from a packet!!! And a few chips which were over cooked …

  • Oh how The Coffee Pot has suffered such a sad demise. 6 years ago the Coffee Pot was a shining beacon of hope in the far west and was always my favour…

Food was OK but service was terrible. Our breakfast order for 3 took 45 minutes to arrive and one of the orders was incorrect. Took another 15 minutes to have it sent back to the kitchen. Then it came out incorrect again. At this stage we just accepted the incorrect order because we didn’t have all day. Will not be returning even though the ambience, particularly the outdoor deck, is pretty nice.

This place is pretty good. Been here several times, always a go to. I’ve gotten pickier with my order but aside from not cooking bacon to my ridiculous standard (really well done, almost burnt, crispy like American bacon), I love coming here. Nice atmosphere, good coffee, fresh juice, what more could you want?

    Poor service.
Staff did their best – but clearly management and chef has no idea how to run a business
Almost one hour to receive a focaccia !? after 2 times enquiring about it? How this place has died a horrible death since first opening.
    Never coming back.

A great atmosphere and potential to be a wonderful place to meet on the deck. However even though there were a handful of people in the venue, we had to wait 45 minutes for our food. Even after this long wait, our order was wrong and a meal had been given to another table which saw us wait another 15 minutes. The food was very average and coffee below ordinary and it was a disappointing experience. Lovely staff however I would not return here.

Whilst the service and coffee was above average with lovely staff , unfortunately that’s all there is to this cafe. The food is absolutely appalling! I ordered the smashed avocados with extra poached eggs and I just don’t understand how you can screw up such a simple dish.
The sourdough was dry and clearly not fresh. The smashed avocado, feta n smoked salmon had barely any flavour and no seasoning?!. I didn’t see nor taste any salt/pepper or anything that would’ve made the dish more flavourful.

Unfortunately I will not be coming back. the chef here really needs to step up his game and management needs to invest into standard quality ingredients because they’ll be losing even more customers with such horrendous food.

oh, I also ordered the chai latte and that was delicious:)

The only reason this place got a 1 is for how polite the staff were. The food was horrible. No great flavour and burnt. We had the waffles and the smash avacado. Not worth the try even though it’s cheap. We thankfully got our money back as we barely ate our food. Won’t be going back. EVER

Beautiful sunny morning on the back deck, can’t fault the view.

Coffee was on point. The banana smoothie was amazing.

My partner and I had French toast topped with banana, cinnamon and maple syrup, it was like any other mediocre French toast, nothing special but not bad.
