What a lovely corner cafe right at the heart of North Melbourne. First time coming however caught up with an old friend whom works now at this cafe as batista. Flora ambience, simple & eligant deco with Japanese brunch and umami miso collections. A wonderful experience.
My current favourite brunch spot! Really clean food but doesn’t skimp on flavour. The menu is split into three main sections and it’s advised to get one from each (small plate, big plate, vegetable sides). My favourite is the negi-toro (avocado and tuna) and also the Japanese pumpkin. The (three different types of) miso soup is (are) also so special as it’s made right infront of you if you’re lucky enough to have table-side seats. If you’re feeling a bit peckish after your meal, try the dessert too. The tiramisu is their most popular but my personal favourite is the mochi (pictured).
