The place has very pleasant ambiance. Servers are polite & in most part attentive. We visited for dinner around 6:20 and ordered mains directly. Food took about 40min to hit the table. while we didnt mind so much the delay, considering the Lead time to food we expected a very fresh & warm meal. What we got was a mix, while the lasagna was pipping hot & fresh, the other two pasta mains were quite cold which made it less pleasant to eat.
The service, value, quantity of food all fair.. they were one of the few places open for dinner on Saturday on that street which is great. However, Italian to me is that fresh, simple, warm & comforting food and this evenings meal was just slightly short of the mark.
My friend and I ordered carbonara and gamberi, the carbonara looks good, but it doesn’t has mushrooms. I had gamberi, it looks a bit dry when I came onto the table. It has not much flavour and I can’t taste the chilli at all.
