Was in a family group looking to have a coffee… But was told there was not enough room for us. Even when we said we would be happy to split up and order separately, was told there is still no room and there were plenty of other cafes we could go to… Basically asking us to leave.

Had the dark and white Belgian hot chocolates. Friendly and prompt service. The drinks were deliciously rich and great value at only $4 for a cup, a price you wouldn’t get in Melbourne CBD for this quality.

Won’t be back. Gossipy staff loudly evaluating the customers is a distinct turn-off.

Poor Service. From interstate, walked into the premises. Menus at table , looked menu over , no attention received, uncomfortably re read it 3 times, only 2 tables occupied, staff talking to each other. Table service? Counter service? Locals may know – guess I will never find out , often visit Williamstown and will not go back.

Clean cups Wow. It is becoming a rarity these days to get clean cups in cafes but cocoa’s are the cleanest. Staff are friendly and care about their work. Great local for me after work. The Sugar hour can be a bit daunting at times but on the whole quite pleasant. Great for some nice service after a days gardening.

Disappointing. After a long day trolling the streets, a friend and I decided to pop in for a quick coffee and bite. She ordered first (as I was having a quick fag outside) a toastie and I ordered the Moroccan Sweet Potato Soup. After a l o n g 25 minute wait, my soup arrived, which was odd because my friend had ordered her toastie about 5 minutes before I arrived, and then, her sandwich had not one skerrick of butter on it anywhere! It was the saddest dryest sandwich I’d ever seen. My soup, on the other hand, was delightful, although the ‘toast’ must have been scared by the toaster as it was luke warm and not brown! and finally, the coffees arrived – in take away mugs! Oh well, they tasted alright. Overall, the service was poor and the staff were less than friendly – I don’t think I’ll be back. Sorry!
