Such a great vibe in this light-filled airy restaurant. The staff are lovely, and dont rush you to order or more importantly to eat, allowing you to relax and enjoy the food for as long as you wish. Heaps of seating options we sat downstairs and although it was a wasnt overly full at 1pm, by 2pm it was jammed with families enjoying their Sunday. Even so, it wasnt too noisy, but there is an upstairs and balcony that can accommodate those wanting a bit more quiet.
The food was really really good. Cant go past Saganaki at a Greek restaurant and it did not disappoint, coming out still bubbling from the heat griddle. We were recommended the lamb and also the Eggplant Souva. The eggplant souva was a fusion between all the flavours your expect in peking duck, yet wrapped in soft pita. Taste sensation!
The lamb melted in your mouth and was cooked to perfection. Id also heard good things about the chicken salted chips, so of course, had to try. A little over fried but thats never a bad thing especially after a few Saturday night drinks.
The showstopper for me was the Baklava Ice-cream sandwich. Amazing!!!!!!!
All in all, a great place to enjoy a beautiful lunch with family or friends, with reasonable prices and great drinks.
Atmosphere was great. I cannot iterate that enough.
We also enjoyed a walk / explore around Williamstown afterwards, so if youre not from the area, you can definitely make a day of it.
