For $110 I wish I had of taken that money around the corner to another restaurant. The fried rice was bland and flavorless, the Mongolian beef was just meat and onion with what looked like gravy in a tin foil boat. The sweet and sour chicken was flavoursome however the battered chicken wasn’t great quality. Definately won’t be returning here which is a shame as being from Newport I love to praise my local area however this is a miss.
If you are saying that this place is the best Chinese restaurant in Williamstown, I might agree with you just because Williamstown is really lacking a good Asian food. This place offered one of the best services in a Chinese restaurant, though of course we paid for it. But the actual dishes tasted somehow just okay. The staffs/owners here were super friendly though , so if you are nearby and feel like having a Chinese food, do try this place.
Wednesday night dinner, decided to try a local in Williamstown, excellent service from start to finish, even with a hot towel at the end to wash hands. Food was beautiful, will definitely come here again.
Divine! Every time divine!
I have been here many times
Waiters are pleasant and the owners are lovely
Food is the best Chinese in Williamstown
Expensive menu, and I dislike spring rolls that have mushroom through them. The amount of times I’ve been to Chinese restaurants and they give you hardly any vegetables because you asked without mushroom. Would only eat take-away from here. Average at best.
Pretty sure we were overcharged the last time.
Owner and host, Frank, is apparently a bit of a local personality. He was friendly, warm, and jovial. He picked straight away that we weren’t local as he hadn’t seen us before. It was evident from his interaction with other patrons that there are many ‘regulars’. Service was pretty quick, even though the place was busy. Prices around $20 a dish; portions reasonable. Food pretty decent, but in my opinion not particularly memorable.
It is very good food.
