Got some sushi from this joint for lunch as I wanted something quick and easy while on the road. Didn’t think of checking reviews cause how bad can sushi be right?

I was dead wrong. Rolls were obviously not fresh, so much so that the rice was alrmost glue like. Thankfully I’ve only bought 2 rolls.. Took one bite from each roll and decided that I wasn’t going to risk it as it was ‘fresh’ salmon. Worst sushi experience ever!

Most non fresh, smallest sushi’s I have ever eaten. The women also gave me two tubes of soy sauce for three sushi’s. Would not go back, very stingy.

If you think this sushi is ok then you’ve obviously never had sushi ANYWHERE else!
Looks pretty but they definitely are not trained sushi chefs… over priced and every bit of fish I’ve ever had from there has had fat and shitty chewy bits through it … just never again!!!

Sushi much better than other place near Coles
Has extensive hot food menu, my favourite is no. 2
Staff are matter of fact but I don’t mind that

I’ve tried the curry laksa which was decent enough to satisfy a craving but I highly discourage the pho noodles. Tasted like instant broth, had two different kinds of the wrong noodles, bok choy and overcooked meat. They couldn’t offer hoisin sauce or other vegetables either. The worst I’ve ever had.
The sushi is sub par but I prefer it over the other place near Coles. It tastes fresher, the rice isn’t as soggy and the sushi isn’t smothered in sauce either. The bentos are often gone by late lunchtime though.
The staff can be quite rude too; it wouldn’t hurt for them to smile or greet customers. Paying by card only makes them grumpier. If only Yamabuki were open during the day..

This is the worst sushi place, it’s more like a cheap Chinese restaurant that sells sushi. They even omit the kewpie Japanese Mayo obviously to save money and put Kraft may instead!!!
