Love the interior of restaurant. Used to be our favourite Williamstown regular place to go but feel its slipped a little.
Glass of coke ordered mid meal took too long to arrive & in a plastic glass. I had finished my paella by time it did arrive. The water refill ordered at same time didnt arrive. Staff are lovely very friendly but maybe too much talking not efficient enough. Menu reduced due to problems with pizza ovens. Nacho dish to start was too sloppy. Needed more nachos for that amount of toppings.
Will give place another chance as it may have just been a bad night though early dining – hopefully will see a return to usual good quality
Bad mussel and unapologetic manager.
Its definitely fresh and we dont know why it smells like that
Total joke and disappointment.
Never going back.
This has great atmosphere. The menu selection is quite good and the staff are friendly, this is really worth a stop when you’re next at Williamtown for a meall or Coffee and cake
Burned fish. Over cooked steak and calamari that was rubbery. The dinner took an hour and a half to come out and we were given no cutlery. People who came before us were served whilst we continued to wait. Disappointed to say the least.
You wouldn’t say there’s much groove to the groove lounge. Nestled amongst some pretty disappointing restaurants, this stoned walled, dated cafe bar is nothing short of mediocre due to average service and food that isn’t all that special.
Went for lunch on Monday, meal was alright no real complaints there. Unfortunately meal was ruined by the blond witch behind the bar, yelling aggressively to all staff members throughout the meal. Felt bad for the poor kids having to deal with her working in that gestapo environment.
We were strolling along the Nelson Place strip looking for a place for brunch. As we walked pass the Groove Lounge, we were greeted by an amazing staff and made us feel welcome straight away. Food was great and service was amazing. Definitely coming back again in the future!
