We were looking for a Mexican restaurant to go to last night and was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Fonda (45 minute wait for a table) to be told that we could wait upstairs with starters and tacos or we could choose to eat up stairs instead of waiting. As we wanted tacos we sat upstairs, the starters of corn and chips with chipotle were at the table super quick and shortly after the tacos arrived. The tacos were colourful with lots of ingredients, fresh and absolutely delicious. A great alternative if you don’t want to wait or the perfect spot to wait for your table to become available downstairs at Fonda.
