Great food, lovely butter chicken and mango lassi is great too. We often come here, and I’m always very happy. Staff are also always very nice.
This place used to be great. Gave it a second chance and never again. Lamb korma was tasteless. Tandoori chicken was dry. Many better Indian takeaway places even though this is the closest for me.
Under cooked Chicken. Ordered Take away Chicken Tandorri and when I cut it open it was pink and very under cooked. I called the Cafe to let them know and while the lady I spoke to was apologetic didn’t seem to surprised or concerned. She didn’t even get my details or offer a refund or anything.
I live very local so very disappointed as I just returned from India and love their cuisines so now I am turned
off ordering from here. The Beef Madras was very good though.
Ordered a simple butter chicken curry and chicken masala curry. Both were flavour-less and it was delivered 20mins later than the delivery time we were told via text message. Never again!
Simply delicious. My favourite dishes are the chicken tikka Masala and beef vandaloo…Probably the tastiest Indian ive had here in Australia
Cafe Darjeeling is by far the best and most authentic Indian cuisine in Melbourne. I have eaten at countless Indian restaurants and none come close to Darjeeling! In addition the service is great and food is well priced! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Disgusting. Overpriced. Forgot to deliver the coke and rice. Food tasted like slop and roti was overcooked. Never in my life will I eat here again.
