Salad rolls that are stuffed to the brim with tasty meat and fresh veggies- the perfect hangover cure, or simply for an especially delicious lunch! These guys know how to do proper banh mi, and their pies and sausage rolls are pretty great as well. Haven’t tried their baked goods yet.
Just a word of advice- if you ask for salt and pepper on your banh mi, they will put A LOT of salt and pepper on it. Best to just skip it or put it on at home, in my opinion!
Delicious food, generous portions at a great price. $2.50 for a huge chocolate croissant; $6 for an overflowing Banh mi
I love everything here – their pastries, pies and Vietnamese rolls. Staff are all lovely too
Great bakery where you can get a huge salad sandwich for only $4.00… Very friendly service and food always tastes fresh and delicious… Yet to try their pies but there sausage rolls are great…
I come here almost once a week for the Apple Cakes. At $3 a piece, this is a generous serving and I highly recommend it. Apple inside it cooked to perfection, icing is layered thickly but in no way feels sickly sweet, the crumble of the cake is done to perfect without fail… Getting hungry even writing about.
There is a wide range of additional sweet, and of course savoury, options at the Bakery. I would be keen to sample more of the sweet options because I am so impressed by how well the apple cakes are made. The sandwiches also look very appetising. It’s always pretty busy here but the service is 100/100 every single time.
I was just doing a ‘top-up’ shop at Foodworks today and felt like a pie – pretty convenient to be able to pop into Hoang’s next door and check it out, don’t know why I’ve never done so before. Sure glad that I did. 🙂
The range of pies available was fantastic and the quality was incredible – exceptional flaky pastry, home made and filled to the brim with good quality ingredients of what you actually ask for!! The service was top notch too – extremely friendly and very inviting, I will certainly return whenever I feel that I need anything from a bakery in the local area.
What’s more, I was exceptionally impressed by the prices on the menu, which were made even more appealing by a 2 pies for $5 special. Absolute bargain that couldn’t be refused. 🙂
You can get a very tasty salad roll for under $5, add some meat and it’s still under $6. Service is always suoer friendly too. Don’t know why it’s below 3/5, deserves more!
$3 for lunch!!! A mini banh mi (Vietnamese pork roll) generously stuffed with all the ingredients you want – can you beat that? Sometimes I don’t feel like a big lunch, mind you a mini banh mi isn’t exactly small. The ingredients are fresh and the staff friendly. What more could you want?
