The menu made good attempts at being creative. The major let down was the excessive combining of flavours resulted in the delicacy of Japanese food being compromised. Nonetheless, everything was cooked relatively well and the service was commendable.
Finally visited this quirky place after hearing the interesting reviews. We went on a Tuesday which was there two for one specials night although be careful as does not include all tacos or sliders but their selected menu. Had the poke salmon tacos, eggplant tacos and tuna sushi to begin with; glad we came on the two for one because they are very small serves and do not believe worth that price. They tasted funky and different to your standard Japanese fare, mixing fruit and sweetness with more traditional which was a nice change. The sushi was again similar in the blending of flavours but not as dominant. On the next order we had the vegetarian pizza, chicken sliders and kingfish sashimi. The pizza was pretty bland and uninteresting and the others nothing special. Overall the service was really attentive and kind and the food came out very fast and relatively fresh.
It is not a place Ill be rushing back to however a nice experience
