Best classic fish n chips takeaway in local area, fish is what they say it is unlike some others in the area. No frills, just quick, basic fish n chips – just what I like.

Great customer service, also very friendly! Always quick and cater to a vegan diet and request! I go here atleast once a week! Soon as we moved to the area we became regulars!

No Customer Service. Went to Trawlers Catch today for some lunch. We ordered burgers, chips and fish asking for both to be grilled. The lady owner ended up putting one in the fryer. We advised her we asked for grilled (which she repeated in our order). However she turned around and said we asked for fried (incorrect). She was rude and calling us liars and said we have to have the grilled one.

Well we ended up with the fried and grilled and they were not flake.. looked more like goldfish! That’s how small they were.

Disappointed.. shouldn’t have gone as it looked dirty anyway.

Always reliable. My local fish and chips store. It’s not mindblowing, but this place has a vast menu and they’re always reliable. Chips always fresh, burgers always a good size, definitely recommend this to locals or people passing by. It’s cash only, so come prepared, and the staff – while pleasant and efficient – aren’t up for a long chat! But they don’t need to be. This is a good place.

It was alright. Not the best but good for a local shop. The food was overcooked and a touch overpriced but overall not bad. Also the fact that they dont have eftpos was inconvenient.

Good local fish and chips. Don’t expect anything fancy, just fish and chips like you had them as a kid at a great price.
