The Windsor Deli is hands down my favourite cafe in Melbourne. While the place is quite small and hidden away from the hustling and bustling streets of Windsor and Prahran, the atmosphere at the Deli is unmatched. The service staff are extremely friendly and the food is cooked fast but with care. The coffee is velvety smooth and is the perfect drop each morning. Highly recommend the Deli to any body from near and afar.
Cute cafe in my local area. Coffee and food is always good as well as service. Lots of gluten free options but would love some more vegan too. Also wished they used leaf chai rather than powdered. Other than that, keep it up
Hidden in the quiet little streets of Windsor, this little cafe pumps out some of the most insane (insanely good, that is) cookies. My cookie of choice was the often pictured Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip cookie, and it was a damn good choice.
The cookie was surprisingly soft and very buttery and short. I suspect a devilish amount of peanut butter went into this bad boy, because the flavour was very pronounced. The chocolate chunks were large and for once I wished there was less of it because it made the cookie very sweet. Nevertheless it was definitely one of the best cookies I have ever had.
Intrigued by the mixed reviews, I was very keen to finally come down and try this cafe out after living in the area for almost a year – quite glade that I did. The soy latte that I just enjoyed was very light and creamy, made at just the right temperature and served with a warm, friendly attitude. Can’t wait to return at some stage to try out the fantastic range of meals that are available – looks amazing!!
Poor and rude service. Staff members talk down to patrons, rarely smile and even spoke harshly to the person in front of me. It didn’t get better from there. Burnt coffee. As a local I can’t stress how unnerving this was and I will never return.Go elsewhere. Anywhere will do.
I have passed this shop few times, finally got the chance to sit in the shop to enjoy a Coffee and their Giant Sandwich.
Have to agree admit the size is decent, which can easily fill up a guy’s tummy. However, it is too big for me. Even only half of it is very filling for me. But the taste is great.
We ordered two sandwiches, one is corn beef with slaw and one is pulled pork with cheese. Their toasts taste slight different from other shop with less butter. I guess that’s why it is less moist but lighter. I personally love their receipt. I reckon the pulled pork with jalapeos and cheese is awesome. I will get this next time.
Really cute little deli in Windsor that is big on flavour and service! My go to place on the weekend, but please don’t tell too many people.
