Thankyou! Thats all I can say.We had our engagement Party in The Loft at St Ives on Saturday the 12th of August.Kyle and I were so happy with how everything went.Rosie and all the staff where beyond wonderful on the day – No request was to much, and they happily helped us out with lots of little last min changes (speech time changes etc etc).Having everything upstairs was great – there isn’t many venues that the function room has its own bar and bathroom facilities separated from the rest of the venue. While it isn’t disabled friendly – our friends and family with issues tackled the stairs in there stride and there was no complaints, I do like however there is downstairs function areas to cover those needs. The food was amazing and abundant, I didn’t hear a single complaint and talking to everyone in the last couple of days they 100% agree there was NOTHING to complain about. Still having food at the end of the night means that no one was starved and those who had happened to miss dinner were able to eat and not go hungry. The staff – the ones that helped out prior to the event with the set up and those who served all our guests did such a good job making sure everyone was satisfied. It is 100% a great venue and I can see ourselves using St Ives again for events in the future as it has something for everyone and enough space that even if there are little ones they have room to run and play.Thank you all again for such a wonderful night – There is not a single thing we would change and we will forever be grateful for all of the staff at St Ives for helping make the celebration of our engagement one that is truly memorable.

I suppose at $6 you can’t expect too much from a parma and chips. But even this was a little disappointing. The parma was tasty but small – less than 10cm at its biggest and was clearly a heart-shaped store bought one topped with a sprinkling of diced ham pieces and cheese. The chips were tasty, but there weren’t many. I opted to pay the extra $3 for veggies, so maybe you get more chips if you don’t get veggies or salad (also $3 extra)?! The veggies were lukewarm and had obviously been in a bain-marie for a while. But the venue is pretty nice. Huge beer garden with seating for over a hundred. And plenty of room for larger groups of people. The staff were friendly and the service prompt, so everything was a positive except for the portion sizes.Friday nights also feature $6 basic spirits so I’m sure the combo of parma and spirits is a BIG drawcard! The rest of the menu is reasonably standard pub fare, at average prices. But I didn’t see anyone else eat anything other than parmas!

Good place for a laid back Sunday session . Standard pub fare but I find the venue pleasant and it’s nice to be out of the centre of town sometimes.

Awesome place 10/10. Been here a few times for dinner now, definitely one of the best pubs in the region in regards to price, food and service. Friday nights they have $5 parmies, which are basically half sized parmies with chips. Still great value for money and they taste great. Some of my bigger mates like to get 2 though if they’re particularly hungry. The fish and chips is also one of the best I’ve had on the border. The staff are always friendly and helpful and always seem to be smiling. The drinks are also cheaper than some of the more popular pubs in the area. Would definitely recommend.
