The nicest Indian we have found in our local area. Every dish has been really nice and each tastes unique unlike some in the area whose dishes all taste the same. They also deliver which is handy. Overall, really enjoyable.
We used Ganges restaurant catering for 45 pax at a private venue. Entree and mains dishes served were of highest quality and tasted as good as they get served in house. Spices were toned down on request as it was kids b’day party and still main dishes were so full of flavours. Every one was all praise of Sohan’s culinary skills and also his catering staff Amit was very efficient. If you like your gulab jamuns, so far this place has best tasting ones I’ve tried so far in Perth. Chef Sohan was very flexible with the menu and provided competitive prices. Highly recommend this place!
I have ordered take away food a few times now but never sat in the restaurant . When i walk in the staff are very nice and it looks very clean. The food has always been very good and i love the garlic nann bread. If you like really hot curry make sure to tell them as a normal hot is still a little mild for us but we like hot food.
Love the Biryani. I rate the chicken biryani as the best chicken biryani i have had in australia.
Consistently Good. We have been eating at Ganges since just after it opened. The food is consistently good, authentic Indian flavours and a happy, family friendly environment. Great service too!
Shazz and Nick. After a bad experience with another local Indian restaurant we ordered from we were hoping Ganges would be a big improvement as we love Indian food. We certainly weren’t disappointed. We ordered the family pack and it was great value for money and the flavours were amazing. We had the chicken tikka and the lamb garhwal and they were both delicious especially with the green chutney and raita but the gulab jamun was absolutely amazing. The best thing is there is still enough to have for lunch tomorrow. We will definitely eat from here again.
