Tried the Vietnamese roll from this place after hearing rave reviews from dad. I was surprised to see a long line when I arrived. The service was inefficient and not very friendly. The filling was generous however it had too much meat and not enough of the pickled and fresh vegetables, throwing off the balance. It was nice but not my favourite.
The staff here are always friendly. And they’re kind enough to check if I want chilli or not (as sometimes I buy rolls for other people, who have chilli, but I do not.) The $5 Vietnamese rolls are great value for money. They’re nice and filling. The rice paper rolls are also quite good, and have a decent amount inside them. I like the sugar cane juice, and you can get it and a roll for $8.
This little hidey hole is a hidden gem tucked away in Alexander Heights shopping centre. The prices are so cheap, you’ll think that you must be in Vietnam. The mini pancakes are an absolute must, never have I tasted anything quite like them. The service is impeccable and the staff very friendly. An absolute must visit.
