Honestly really average, which is a let down given the location is so good and lack of other venues in the area. they got my order wrong, and when I told the staff member I would eat it anyway (rather than get hungrier given the meals took a little while to come out) she moved on from our table with barely a sorry or consideration of compensation ( the meal I paid for was incrementally more expensive). The dish they ended up giving me was a basic eggs on toast sort of deal but the poached eggs tasted like vinegar. If I was to return I hope the experience would be better, but as it was I was far from impressed.
A great little place hidden away in the far northern suburbs.Visited recently for the first time as I heard through the grape vine that they were very good. The vine was correct, a superb cafe serving substantial meals prepared with much care. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken while my partner chose the ‘Shore burger’, both delivered swiftly. Both meals were perfectly cooked and presented, even my usual Iced Coffee arrived with an unusual twist. A ‘deconstructed Iced Coffee?’, thats a first! Great to see some cafes really make the extra effort, very well done you guys!
There is no where on the north west coast that currently comes close. Great coffee, fantastic food at great Prices. George and his team are passionate about good food and always happy to have a chat. This is my local now. Add in the spectacular view and you can’t get much better!
So I missed out on the wonderful service. Girl at counter was not the least bit pleasant. $5 for a regular take away coffee and $6 for a regular take away soy chai latte. By far the most expensive I have ever paid although I should state that the regular was the size of most places large. Great location obviously, and food looked good. Will likely come back again as it’s the nearest cafe to home but it definitely won’t be a regular or frequent occurrence.
Where do I start? About time the northern suburbs got with it, so big praise to the owner and his staff.. 5*****. The location and setting is great, chilled out and offers opportunity for the kids to break away and kick a ball or beach… Driving to Perth and Freo is now a 2nd choice.
This place is amazing!!! About time there was a decent cafe in the northern suburbs, the service is genuinely friendly and the owner told us that everything was homemade, which is obvious as the quality of the food was unbelievable!! The hollandaise sauce so buttery and creamy not too vinegary, the best that I have EVER had!! And the menu said it had truffle oil on it and for once it was true to it’s word!! Will definitely be making this a regular haunt!! AWESOME!!
My family and I had lunch at this cafe on the weekend. The view and surroundings can not be beaten! Simply stunning and such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious. The squid melted in my mouth and was full of flavour. The burgers were amazingly tasty with the softest rolls ever baked. What impressed us most about this establishment was the quality of FRESH produce. Even the sauces were freshly made! There was plenty of staff who were readily available if needed. The Iced Coffee is one of the best presented i have ever seen! A shot of coffee next to small bottle of milk, next to a large glass full of ice served on a small tray. Looked very inviting! Next time i will try the homemade pies baked fresh each morning. They looked divine! It was refreshing to see the owner George mingling with all the patrons, constantly checking that everything was up to standard. We will definitely be back!
