Had a lovely meal at Nic and Kolo last Friday evening – a group of six and we all enjoyed our meals thoroughly. Staff were lovely and friendly. No complaints. We all agreed it was worth a repeat performance.

After seeing many pics on N&K on Insta I decided to try.It was a full restaurant so they couldnt accommodate us straight away butoffered to take our phone number and call when a table became available. We gotsick of waiting so went back and found a table had just left so we grabbed it.I have to say that I could not fault the service. Some of the best in Perthactually so massive points for that. Unfortunately we were really let down bythe food. Iordered the prawns and chorizo with bread. It looked great but ittasted really average. The chorizo they used was more like polony and theprawns were so over cooked that they were mushy. There was a very overpoweringand unpleasant flavour from the chunks of preserved lemon throughout the dish. Ialso shared a basket of chips with my friend but what we received was sominiscule. You would get more chips in a Maccas Happy Meal. Also on the minusculeside was my friends serving of vegan lentils. Expectation was far from realitywhen the plate was placed on the table. There would have been no more than aquarter of a cup of lentils under all the garnishes. All in all it was very disappointing.

Havent gone out for brunch for a long time, so husband and I decided going to Nic&kolo on Sat. First thing we noticed when we walked in was a pretty counter in the middle of the shop which displayed all cakes and cookies for the day. It was a busy day yet It didnt take too long to wait for the foods. Really impressed with foods presentation. However, the food didnt really suit our palate.

great place. service was friendly and prompt. had plenty of gluten free and vegan options. doggo and child friendly. plenty of tables inside & outside. cute little selection of sweets, including some vegan icecreams (yum! but also because I’m lactose intolerant). we had a varied selection for brunch, everyone was really happy w their meals & needless to say every plate was finished clean. i got toast w vegemite & added a poached egg & baked beans. perfect for what i was cravings. very happy & definitely on my list of fav brunch places. thank you!

Finally got round to coming here and was not disappointed. Between the two of us we ordered the son in law eggs, which were a visual treat as well as tasting delicious, and the chicken salad (simple, fresh but tasty and filling). Nuts about you smoothie was refreshing and the coffee is good. Decor is modern and aesthetic, service is prompt and friendly, and the menu is interesting and varied – ticks all the boxes. Definitely worth checking out for a relaxed breakfast or brunch (or even dinner!).

Came here for a quick catch-up with a friend for the first time and did not expect it to look so fancy haha. This restaurant is located in a really great spot and the open layout, tasteful design and use of natural lighting create a lovely setting. Menu items are more on the pricey side but they sounded interesting and seemed like you get what you pay for, combined with the experience of being there – the service we received was impeccable and the carrot cake I had was amazing and super moist. Will definitely be back to try some of their dishes and love love love that they are open for dinner!
