This has become a regular place for us to have brunch or coffee. We havent had a bad meal and have tried almost everything on the breakfast menu. I love that breakfast is available all day and that its child friendly. Theres a pretty view of the water/fountains if you sit outside. The only downside is theres no change table in the toilet but hopefully soon!
Good and efficient service. Coffee ok but Food below average, We had veggie brekkie and avo smash, the eggs were underdone, avo is packet avo, bread was soggy and meal lacked flavour. Wont be back.
I really wanted this place to succeed but it is such an unfriendly little place, sadly. The physical space is funky and looks fantastic, breakfast is amazing, the lunch is good but the restrictive opening hours (closing at 4pm – who are you catering for?? And closing every possible opportunity eg public holidays, closing early on school holidays etc), sloppy staff and cold atmosphere don’t make it an attractive option in an area that is crying out for a place like this. The staff need uniforms and a complete attitude overhaul – they are polite at best but you always feel like something of a mild nuisance. When you close so ridiculously early (it would be lovely, especially in the warmer months, to sit with some friends and a bottle of wine and snacks at 6pm, perhaps even with the option of staying for dinner), please don’t pack up around me – sometimes they have started closing 15 minutes, even half an hour before closing time. This feels intimidating and unfriendly to the few customers you manage to have. I don’t understand how this place is failing to the point of having to close the travel section and not being able to sustain dinner openings, but it’s a waste of a great location. Owning a business is really hard work, stay open, welcome your customers and make them want to stay (and spend!) Until you do that, unfortunately this is a bit of a dead end cafe.
