Food was ready quick and batter was light and crispy.Those are the only good points.Fish was very dry, and chips were cooked to the point that there was nothing resembling potato inside the crunchy oily shell.Fish portions were reasonably sized, but I can get twice the chips at half the price and higher quality elsewhere. Won’t be returning.
Ordered a 1/2 family meal on Australia, expecting to have to wait a while for my order. Was told it would be ready in 10 minutes to my shock!Picked it up and it was ready on time. The fish was cooked perfectly and the chips were at that perfect level of crisp. Delightful meal and great service.
Nice fresh clean tasting batter $20 deal. 2 x snapper, chips and a choice of side. Snapper good size portions. Chips generous amount without being over the top and chicken nuggets. Fed family of 2 adults and a 3 year old with a health appetite comfortably. Warning – call up and order as due to shops popularity we had a 30 min wait!
Nice fish & chips but we were told it would be ready in 20 minutes but when I got there it wasn’t ready and I waited a further 45 minutes!! I wasn’t the only one too everyone who had called ahead were standing out in the cold waiting for their order. Fair enough you’re busy but don’t tell me 20 minutes when it’s going to take forever!!!! Terrible service! Until I hear this improves I will not be going back.
Awesome. We bought a Fishermen s basket for $35.Was enough to feed the four of us.All top notch food.The chips were crispy and tasty but a little light on for quantity.Will definitely go back again.
Total rip off. $5 worth of chips about enough to fill one small bowl- really great when you have 6 people to have chips as a side dish! Most fish and chips usually load you up and $5 worth is more than enough!! Everything totally overcooked Not going there again- not that hard to make a profit on frozen potatoes guys- don’t be cheap
Not too bad – NOTE: No Card Facilities. Ordered 2.5 x Family Packs and there was just enough for 6 adults and 9 kids.Fish was nice and chips were good.Only downside was no card facilities but wasn’t too bad as I ran over to the IGA and got a jar of Tartare and got cash out 🙂
