Absolutely terrible service, were made to feel like we shouldn’t be there. Asked for a minimal change to the menu being that I am vegan and didn’t want the cheese in my salad, but was told they don’t change the menu at all. Didn’t eat there went to coffee club instead.
This is a great place to relax – the staff are friendly and efficient. Good food and coffee. Recommended. Breakfast is a winner and muffins delicious.
Just keep on walking by…very disappointing, 2nd time visiting this cafe, first time fairly newly opened so thought OK a few teething problems give it another go. Two months later even worse, out of 7 pieces of crockery 5 pieces were chipped and incorrect cutlery was used. Coffee was disgusting, burnt & bitter. Floor was dirty and had a general air of grubbiness. Was asked if everything was OK by manager and staff member gave back feedback and nothing….no apology, no discount, what is the point in asking for customer feedback if you don’t have a policy in place to deal with complaints?
Have been a few times to this Jamaica Blue now, the food is ok but the service is slow.The most annoying thing is that they make up their own rules regarding the loyalty rewards. They will only let you use them for takeaway coffees, not if you have eaten in the cafe itself (even tho you are accruing the points by eating and drinking in there!)Other Jamaica Blue cafes tell you that you have points and offer to take a reward off.
Never have I been discussed at a simple cafe, can they ever screw up more I doubt it but from the experience I had today I would not be surprised
I usually go to Jamaica Blue at Garden City Booragoon. Unfortunately the one in Baldivis really killed the coffee. I was served burnt coffee twice at this place…This place has a great decoration and space to hang out. I’m sure a lot of people will flock here with improvement in service and coffee (hopefully!). inexology.com
Don’t bother. Have been here a few times and every time orders not taken properly or orders missed entirely. The first time I thought it’s opening week and a few teething problems expected but after my subsequent visits I put it down to incompetent and inexperienced staff. Tables are too close together this is because too many tables and not enough floor space. Tables are not cleared away after meals are finished. We usually order more coffee to enjoy but plates are left to pile up on our table even after we try and move the dirty dishes to one side there is no thought to take them away??? A shame as the location is convenient for me however I think I will drive to Warnbro for better service and even better experience. Such a let down as this place had great potential. Hoping it will change soon.
