Our ‘go to’ takeaway in Baldivis. Fresh ingredients and delicious food that, unlike most takeaway, doesn’t leave us feeling like crap afterwards. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing food, service & atmosphere!!The Beef Burittos are the best with the hot salsa & to top it off, i had a $5 frozen margarita to go with it!!
I went in for a late lunch yesterday and had a quesadilla with guacamole and a Jarrito, I found the customer service from staff very polite and welcoming. My food was lovely and hot, I give this place a 10 out of 10 and I will be back for more.
Do yourself a favour. . . keep walking past this place. Chicken quesidillas were dry, seriously lacking chicken and perhaps had a waft of cheese. For what we paid…. seriously – look for something else. Friends like this place…. really wondering how.
Quite a frustrating place. Being a fan of burritos I do like mine hot in temperature. So when I go in and order a burrito they seem to have all the covers off the food. By the time you get it home its stone cold mainly due to the fact that it’s not that hot to start with. Not sure if it’s due to staff being lazy but zambrero have an entirely different policy with regards to food temperature.
I like Mexican food and was really happy when Mad Mex opened only 5 minutes away from home. I remembered that the spicy beef steak burrito from the Perth CBD outlet was quite tasty, but when I went there I decided to go for quesadillas. Hubby decided on his favourite comfort food, nachos with spicy pulled pork. The quesadillas was filled with beef steak and quite filling. It was made really well so the sauce didn’t drip and every ingredients stayed inside the triangle. The staff were generous with the serving of meat for nachos too and hubby was definitely very happy when he saw that. The only downside was that the cheese didn’t spread evenly. I thought the spicy sauce used to be hotter, but it might be my memory playing up.Out of curiosity, we queued back in line to try the churros with chocolate sauce especially since Mad Mex plastered the drawing of churros all over the serviettes. Unfortunately they only have one type of sauce, but the churros was served warmly and the sauce was enough for a serve of two churros. The service was quite quick despite some new members of staff and the only glitch was that I didn’t ask for guacamole, but they gave me one anyway and charged me $2 for it.There were some outdoor seating available surrounded by colourful tin barrels and dirty tables got cleaned quickly after patrons finished their meals.Mad Mex is a good option for kids birthday parties especially with the availability of Timezone on the second level of the building. It’s also a good venue for hangout with family and friends due to the quick walk from the Stockland Shopping Centre. inexology.com
