The waitstaff were friendly, but this is the only thing the place has going for it. We order three meals from the specials menu and they were absolutely disgusting. We waited half an hour for cold and tasteless dishes. My brother got the King snapper: the fish was cold, tasteless and the rice was cold as well. The fish was like rubber; you could play hockey with it. I got the chicken burger: I got a grizzly quarter of a thigh that was banged out and then crumbed; shocking meal. The chips were oily and had a dead ant amongst them. Won’t be going back. Disappointed, left hungry.
Needed to take out a personal loan for the price of their soft drink pints. Made sure I saved it for the entire meal.6$ for 300-400ml is a bit steep.
Came here for a weekend lunch with the family. Staff and service was great but the food was a bit meh. The hubbys laksa special was nice but my prawn salad was disgusting. Really sweet and bland. The kids meals were a great size but really oily. Drinks are well priced. Have been here before a lot for dinner and the tasting plate previously is generally ok, the pork we had another night was and no crackling and the burger is good. Possibly stick to the pub favourites and go for a drink with friends over going out for a nice dinner here.
The staff were all great, everyone was friendly and helpful. It was busy at a weekend lunch time and had a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the main event is the food and it just wasn’t good. The squid was the worst, it came out cold and was really bland. Croquettes were also just bland. We had a pizza and flavours were good but it was extremely oily. The pulled pork sliders were really nice, but they were the only dish we enjoyed. I would come back for drinks because it’s a nice pub and the staff were really lovely, but won’t be rushing back to eat.
Nice food and friendly staff but service was so slow! We had a good time and everyone on our table of 9 seemed to enjoy their dinner. Just a long time to come out.
Went here last night and cannot complain one bit. Waitstaff were so caring and helpful, food came out quick and the quality of food was good. We had the Asian tasting plate with a prawn Caesar to share. Portion sizes great.
