We have lived in the area for years and visited the Vernon Arms Pub once. At the time it wasn’t very nice but has since changed hands and the new brewing facility is open and boy is it good! The beers are delicious and refreshing, the food is good quality pub food and some fancy options on a Saturday and Sunday and an alternative BBQ menu and acoustic music on Friday. The view, well I’ll let it speak for itself. The seating at the venue has been designed to take advantage for the stunning landscape but do take your sunnies and a hat if you want to watch the sun go down. There is a sandpit and big lawn for kids to run around on although young ones will need an adult down there with them as it’s next to a busy road and the drive isn’t fenced. I was lucky enough to meet a couple of the owners on a tour of the brewery and they are a group of true blue Aussie blokes. I feel totally ok with the amount of meals I buy there because I’m supporting local business Do yourself a favor and check it out.
