Coffee took 40 minutes to be served and store was hardly busy! Cakes were average. Asked for 5 glasses for table water and had to get them ourselves after 30 minutes.
Oh dear! Our breakfast was expensive and disappointing. Poor hubby’s scrambled eggs looked like they had been scraped off the bottom of a pan and his ‘serve’ of smoked salmon was beyond minuscule. My omelette had a peculiar chewy consistency and when I investigated realised it was because the bacon rind had been left on. I had one very small and over-cooked piece of sourdough toast which, mercifully, had a good flavour. Our coffee was good. I can not recommend this cafe for more than takeaway coffee.
What a gem! The smoked salmon and cream cheese panini was delicious as was the coffee and chocolate brownie. The smoothies were enthusiastically devoured by the children. I was impressed by the eclectic array of local and imported produce on display. The service was friendly and efficient. This little gourmet cafe with its commitment to using local produce is definitely worth a visit.
