Excellent stop. Went in to give this place a try and were told it was recently under new management. Service was fantastic and very friendly, food was beautiful. I ordered a burger and hubby had a toastie with extras and was very happy with his coffee. Chefs were very happy to cater for gluten free requirements. Was also hard to resist the desserts cabinet, a lot of which we were told are made in-house. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Ordered the big breakfast which was $20 for a big serving. But was quite normal and something you could whip up in your home kitchen. Being served canned baked beans was a bit disappointing and the toast was soggy (also just appeared to be normal tip top bread, nothing special). Maybe I’m just used to Perth city brunches but this was nothing special but definitely filled us up. I preferred the coffee shop across the road.
Whatever happened to customer service??. The staff in the Mushroom Café are rude and act as though you are intruding in their day. The menu at the café is a joke. You order a steak sandwich (2 weekends in a row on a Sunday) at approx. 1.00pm and you are told not very politely, we have none, order is going in tomorrow. Pie, chips & gravy (choice of 2 pies 1 sausage roll only). Coffee arrives and you only get half a cup, the rest is froth. Even though you ask for NO froth. I believe, the staff just do not listen or plainly, they are not interested in being there. We are locals showing Eastern Staters around our beautiful South West and you get this type of disgraceful service. Mushroom Café you should be ashamed. Won’t be visiting you again or recommending you to others.
Great coffee and hot chocolate, delicious cakes and well presented. Great for morning tea.
