Super Rude staff n Horrifying experience!!Despite repetitively being told by me to them to make Veg fried rice with no egg meat or seafood as i m veg and allergic to seafood, i was horrified to find egg and Prawns in my rice! When i showed that to them, instead of accepting the mistake n apologizing, staff started arguing n dismissed it as if nothing happened!Such a shame…extremely pathetic, rude, careless attitude n experience.
The absolute worst Chinese I’ve ever had and I’m not a fussy eater. Ordered the deep fried duck with sweet & sour sauce and the satay beef.The batter on the duck wasn’t cooked through and what duck meat was with it, was very fatty and soggy. The meat in the satay was stringy and tough and very under cooked. The meal wasn’t consumable.Actually made me feel sick.
It was absolutely divine! I had that fried duck with plum sauce. It was cooked perfectly but I’m not a fan of fried. Though it only came that way. We are going back again!
I discovered this place when I walked past one day and noticed the lunch specials. $10 for noodles such as Mee Goreng, and cheaper for meat and rice dishes. And you can get them as dinner dishes, though it’s $1 extra and takeaway only. The food was very good. It leaves you comfortably full. The staff are nice and friendly, and patient when you don’t know what to get!
Vegetarians beware. Be careful if you are a vegan or vegetarian. I ordered some vegetable spring rolls and to my surprise they had beef in them. How lucky I wasnt allergic!

Ken Clark. We have eaten with our family at the North Garden Chinese Restaurant on numerous occasions and have always found the food consistently excellent and the staff extremely friendly. Can’t understand why this establishment is not mobbed every night. It must be the best kept secret in Bassendean. Highly recommend you should give the lemon chicken a try – it is to die for.
