Always top quality, delicious, fresh food. Husband and I live off the takeaway salads for mid week lunches – so handy. The takeaway meals are so convenient and not greasy tastes like home made. RECOMMEND!
We were regular customers of Old Trout however started to find the quality of food was dropping and three times in a row an item on our order was missing however we had already paid for it.
We just bought 2 portions of family packs from here. Disappointed with the fish portion. One is big and the other smaller. It is a supposed to be 2 ADULT portions so the fish for both should be more or less similar and not one smaller!!
The Old Trout serves up delicious large portions of crispy battered fish and chips, done the traditional english way. Love how you can also get curry from this place!If only they did curry sauce as an option to have with your Fish and Chips this would make it a proper English establishment.Great value for money too, Fish was flaky, batter crispy and chips cooked well.We will be back again!
Worst fish and chips in my life EVER. Shit vein still in all the prawns tasted like a sewer. 90% greasy oil batter no fish at all. Stuffed up my order and gave me 3 servings (9 pieces of fish) not 3 pieces which I asked for and still made me pay for it AWFUL NEVER GO THERE.
LOVE The Old Trout. yes it is a little more than others but that is because it is AUSSIE local and North West Fish, not crappy fish like elsewhere!Lovely people and amazing food, LOVE the grilled fish!
2nd chance and still stuffed up. Can’t believe it the first time we went there they got the order incorrect, gave them a second chance and they stuff it up again!!!! Won’t be trying them again
