Though this place is small and in the middle of suburbia, it’s is cosy and owned by some super friendly people. Loved the homemade sausage roll, and the coffee was so smooth.
Oof. So disappointing. Used to come here all the time and it was incredible. Stopped coming when they stopped cooking breakfast to order… decided to try it again but barely any food in the counter, decided to order just a couple coffees but they were bitter cups of burnt milk with foam on top. Service was tezz too – they made it clear they weren’t happy we were there half an hour before closing… such a shame 🙁
This old butcher turned cafe tucked away in the back streets of bayswater/embleton has become a regular stop off for me…. Everything I have tried from here is delicious, the pies are filled with loads of good quality tasty meat, absolutely worth the $8…. Even the desserts are great, personal fav is the black salted caramel slice… Yet to have a bad experience here!
What a hidden gem, this place is in such a weird location sandwiched between a bottle shop and convenience store behind Embleton Golf Course but it’s definitely worth a visit. Super cute and friendly cafe which delicious home baked food’s and treats. The coffees top notch too and super reasonable. This tart and raw caramel slice cost me the grand total of $9. Best to visit early in the day as they closed at 2pm and most of the yummy stuff is gone by then. They are open for brekkie on the weekend too.
