Horrible, a dirty $4 Street pie would have been better than that meal. Chicken harissa ??? Umm chunks of chicken so dry and small it looked like dog food. Half a dozen peas and a couple half mushrooms does not class as vegetables. $40 for this with a “sofa water. Service was so slow I have to find my own menu. Never again will u visit this place.
Could not fault the service or food. The staff are efficient and obliging. Fish tacos for starter. Tasty and spicy. The thin crust meat pizza was delicious as was the salad. Would be happy to return any time.
Had dinner tonight – mussel risotto. Very small portion, mussels and prawns were old, no flavour in the risotto. Paid $38 for an large entree-size meal that was terrible. Only good thing was the setting next to the marina. I can back today after 7 months (29/10/19, yes, against my better judgement). I came back because most other places in Geraldton after 5pm we’re closed. I ordered the pork belly. It arrived after 40 min (only 3 other ppl in the restaurant). There is a reason that there were only 3 customers here on such a gorgeous afternoon overlooking the water. The “crackling” was uncooked and still translucent – like the pigs ears you give to your pet dog to chew on. It was rock hard and inedible. I sent the meal back and the manager told me that it was cooked to perfection for 2.5 h. She refused to hear my feedback. I left, paying only for my beer. This is my second experience in 7 months. I vowed after the first time to never return. I hope I remember this experience and stick to my word. I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE.
