Quick service, fresh fish, tasty crispy chips at an adequate price. Large serves. Ticks all the boxes without being extravagant. Only thing I don’t like is no eftpos, but there’s an ATM outside.
Chips were terrible, tasted like refried cardboard could only stomach 3-4.Real shame because the fish was lovely. Old arcade games in store was a nice touch.
Although the batter was oily, it didn’t penetrate the fish, if that makes sense. Fish portion size could be better. I’ll probably order from here again. I’m always amazed when people complain of salty fish and chips. Here’s a tip for you order it without salt and salt it yourself to your own liking, problem solved.
Their batter is very crispy – always a good sign at a fish and chip shop. I had the snapper and it was deliciously white and flakey and tasty. There was a little oil but definitely not too much for what I’d expect. The chips were good. Not the best but definitely yum. Will definitely be back here as my other local fish place.
A nice local. Fresh, and clean. The Fish and Chips were not greasy, and quite a big portion. Fast service. The young guy (tanned, ponytail) at the front is a bloody little cutey! 😀
Usually love this place but haven’t been in a while. They have now put up the prices and dropped the quality. Less food then before and way too much salt. Disappointing for a place that used to be a favourite.
Fatty bomba. Tried it when I first moved in the area a year ago, not that good…slightly expensive than the place I normally go to. Chips were not crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside how I like it. I know a lot of people go here as it quiet busy.
