Very happy with the fish and chips we ordered from here. Fish and chips were cooked well. Although Servings were on the smaller side and fish (snapper) was quite thin.
Great service, clean premises, good prices. Fish was nice and crispy. Chips were great (not over cooked). Would definitely go back. 4 stars!
Not sure what this used to be like, obviously brilliant from the comments, but I gave this ago and found it great. Good portions and really nice bits of fish. Order was ready in the specified time.However, we did receive scallops when we asked for potato scallops.. so maybe need to emphasis the potato part.. but the fish and chips were well above average and we enjoyed the scallops just the same.
Visited mid-week and ordered a fisherman’s basket for one and fish and chips for one. Fish was really nicely cooked and the batter was a nice thickness. Not too much and not too greasy. Good chips too. It was all really enjoyable and staff were friendly. One of the better fish and chips we’ve had. Will be back lifelovetravelfood.wordpress.com
I would recommend the Spanish Mackerel. It’s always been consistently tasty and fresh when I’ve ordered.
Soggy fish and stingy portions.
Undercooked and off !. Ordered Dhu fish and chips last Sunday. When we brought them home they smelt unusually fishy. My husband bit into his fish and spat it out, it was still pink in the centre. Upon examination and smelling it up close it was absolutely foul, would almost put you off fish! Lucky our daughter was more into the chips before trying hers. Won’t be back
