Have been here a few times now. Food is always awesome. The owner is definitely a bit of a character but the quality of the food is worth it.
Consistently good food. Best Japanese in Belmont.Been going here since 2009. Food always fresh and great value.Note the place is designed for takeaway. So good option if close to home or work.
Was closed during opening hours with no notice on door. Phone busy/disconnected. I guess call ahead if you are planning to head here and check if they are open…..even during opening hours
First time I really wanna write a review. Saw the ad and went to get some take away today. Didn’t see much customer, but it’s quite a bit of wait. Thought the chef has high standard and it must be good. However, the portion is way too small. Got no flavors on any food (chicken karaage and katsu). The raw salmon sushi is the worst I have ever had. Taka or any Japanese shop in the shopping centre do better than that. Wouldn’t recommend it at all.
Very bad experience called just to order take away but the man on the phone was angry i only wish to order chicken teriyaki. Why would you open a restaurant if you ignore your customer. Worst Japanese people !
A little gem here. Incredible freshly made dishes. Reasonable prices, friendly staff and genuinely delicious food. Try the okonomiyaki and have a chat to the staff, it will make your day.
The taste of the food is alright, but the portion is way too tidy. Ordered a chicken curry rice, the portion is just 1/3 of other shop. Also ordered a mayo tuna sushi, 98% rice and just 2% tuna, I am so shock when I saw my take away. Never go back again, there is a lot better option out there!
