Do not waste your time and money. Second time here in a month. First time was appalling but thought they could have been having a bad night so gave them a second chance. Just as bad if not worse the second time. Bad service, over-priced and under-delivered food. Cider on tap is off as it is obvious the pipes are not cleaned regularly. Flat opened moscato that has sat around for too long and has lost its fizz. Staff need more educating in regards to the food and wines there. People who are staying at the broadwater, grab a cab and go in to town. This place is not up to scratch.
Average experience at the restaurant. Had the prawns, both the rice and prawns come in a tiny pot which made getting both on a spoon difficult. Strongly suggest the rice come on a plate and the prawns to the side and the tails removed. Just made the meal far more difficult to manoeuvre than it had to be and the less fingers in the pot getting burnt the better. Also would help if they gave us menus. They weren’t very busy but somehow forgot to even have our table ready nor set us down with menus. My last experience there was good but this one not so much a pleasure sorry.
