A terrible experience. My partner and I ordered the fish with prawns in garlic sauce. The fish was badly over cooked (like rubber) as were the prawns. The vegies were also overcooked: soft and bordering on mushy. Harlic sauce was flavorless. At $30 a plate this was extremely disappointing. While the waitress was very friendly in the begining, her tone changed when I responded to her inquiry on how the meal was. I told her it was disappointing because the fish was badly overcooked. At that point her mood turned cold and uncaring. No apology or even slight interest in what went wrong. She just told me what I needed to pay. Not even a thank you.Spare yourself the insult and drive on another 30 mins to Manji where you can get a fantastic prawn linguine for less $$ at Tall Timbers, and be served by people who actually seem to care about the food they serve.
Great, fresh pub food with friendly service- will definitely go again!I order chicken parma and my partner the fish special and a glass of wine each very inexpensive! a must for a casual night out with a bit of footy!
