My family and I visited this restaurant last night. My husband ordered two entrees as a main. Mainly because he felt like seafood and there was limited seafood options on menu. His salt n pepper calamari was bland. His garlic prawns were nice. I had spinnakers chicken, which was cooked perfectly and tasted fine. I would have liked no wedges and more actual veges. Children had fish and chips with a token side salad. Which was okay. Another child had chicken schnitzel and thought is was nice. 4th child had the penne pasta and loved it. Best thing for us as a family as playground was right there, which kept kids entertain and made our dining experience more peaceful

Great!. My family and I dined on Friday evening at the Spinnakers Restaurant. The food was quality was lovely, the staff were accommodating and friendly and the speed of service was very fast! The courses were cycled over very efficiently. Was a great dining experience.

Bit heavy on the sauce!. My husband, daughter and I went to Spinnakers for dinner the other night. After looking at the menu we were really looking forward to our meals!Unfortunately we were let down. I ordered the Vegetarian Moussaka which sounded great but was literally just some eggplant and capsicum (possibly a bit of pumpkin by the look of it) on the plate and drowned in pasta sauce. My husband ate the Spinnakers Chicken which was overcooked and very dry and my daughter had the Penne Pasta from the kids menu. Hers was also drowned in pasta sauce and had no substance. It was just the pasta and a very heavy pasta sauce that was almost like tomato paste. The desserts were really nice and we all enjoyed them. It’s a shame that the meal was such a let down considering it cost us over $100 in total. Our friends had eaten there the previous night and said they ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and had the same issue with the sauce. Ease up on the amount you put over the meals so people can enjoy the food underneath it!

Pros – Nice atmosphere and great for families with there being a big playground and bouncy castle. Cons – took a while to get attended to prior to being shown to a table, saw the same thing happen to other guests. If ordering the bruschetta clarify how many slices as we were shocked after receiving only 1 slice for $14! Pork belly and scallops tasted great but pork was too tough to get through with a plain dinner knife. Maybe pre-cut the pork rather than serving as a single slab of meat.
