Great restaurant with great ambience and terrific food. The chicken that I ordered was cooked to perfection. Juicy and tender with crispy skin. The service was great as usual and consistent with our experience at the same restaurant in Melbourne.
My favourite Burswood restaurant.Service seems to keep improving, with knowledgeable waitstaff who display a pursposeful can do attitude. Food is always on point – a great blend of peasant favourites and bourgeois luxury.I always feel relaxed, looked after and well fed from here, which is all I really want from any restaurant.
So typically I don’t do fine dining. But my friend and I wanted to do something nice before seeing a show. I wish I had taken photos of the restaurant – it is pretty. It’s much bigger than I expected and more popular than I expected. Our entrees came out pretty quick but the mains got held up when the restaurant became full.Food was all round very tasty – I had the Cheese Souffl and Gnocchi and both were very yummy.The 2 items I chose were heavy dishes so I felt satisfied at the end but I don’t think the price was justified for the size of the items. But I guess the restaurant is paying for prime real estate.
Dined here for dinner as we were watching a show at the theatre and had the entertainment card. Found the menu quite limited, not that much variety and definitely not really French? Food was tasty and beautifully presented however not worth the price for the food you receive.
Nice setting looking over the pool and all the food was very good. No dish stood out as amazing and something you would run back for but all good quality. The share sou vide steak was a bit of a let down, pumpkin gratin and mash both good sides.
