Most popular hangout in Cable beach, its the local catch up, easy going and small town pubby. Food becomes increasingly more satisfying with a couple of drinks. Overall fun with not too many expectations.
We were recommended this unassuming place by our Taxi Driver & we were not disappointed. Lots of awesome specials on & the food was restaurant quality and LARGE country style portions. We got a cheeky Tuesday beef cheeks with mash, feta, gremolata & broccolini with a glass of Shiraz for $22.Saw a few B grade celebs there too & seems to be where locals go to enjoy a meal. For a romantic dinner, book an outdoor table. Otherwise sit inside & watch any & all sports on the massive screens.
Really good place to eat considering on our trip to Broome we ate here twice. First time we ordered fish and chips, generous serve and quick service. Second trip my husband and I both had porterhouse steak, again cooked perfectly and generous sizes. Worth a visit or two.
Love it here! A busy, laid-back place with tons of atmosphere, great (and quick) service and friendly staff. The Matso’s GB is super gingery, which I loved. Between the two of us we had a garlic bread, pasta and the chicken parmy – typical pub food. Not a place to come for a quiet dinner though, it has an ambushed bar and multiple TV screens blaring at once with news and footy. Sitting outside on a balmy night is lovely though.
Came here for dinner on a Thursday night. Place was buzzing. Plenty of seating. Good portions. I ordered the fish by itself with salad but instead of substituting the salad for the rest of the sides with the fish I was charged extra. I decided to go back and change my order. The manager came out and sorted the order as it was all too much for the girl behind the til. It all turned out well in the end and food was delicious.
