Called Cable Beach Resort Pearl Thai to check opening hours for lunch. Extremely poor English from the waiter on the phone, a difficult conversation. Established the restaurant was open till 3pm, so we drove the 135kms from our accomodation to the restaurant only to be told we weren’t allowed in the guest only area where the entire restaurant was situated, but he bar across the path did the same menu. We asked to see the menu before taking a seat at a table still dirty from pervious occupants. Unfortunately for us there was no Thai cuisine on the menu for lunch hours.Essentially, Thai Pearl no serve Thai cuisine at lunch.
