Tried this restaurant on a Friday night after a recommendation from an Indian work colleague. They run a small dinner buffet as well as a la carte. We opted to try the buffet which had 4 meat curries, 4 vegetarian curries, poppadoms, samosas, rice, naan, 3 salads and 1 dessert. Food was presented well and kept topped up. The meal was very flavourful and there was enough variety. Staff were polite but not particularly friendly. Delhi 6 also has an Indian sweets shop around the corner which we went to after dinner. The sweets there are very good and tastier than most I have had before. Staff there were very friendly and helpful.
This restaurant is a brand itself. Sumptuous meals, nice ambience and friendly service a perfect combination which we all look for when we visit any restaurant. The food is finely cooked to give them the real Indian tang and colour. I love their naans and mutton items. Simply awesome!
wow one of the best value meals i’ve had in a long time – buffet dinner for $25! nice variety of food, very yummy, service was very attentive. i think the steady stream of customers to eat in or takeaway (many of whom were indian!) says a lot. the restaurant itself is quite nice too – not shabby at all for an inexpensive restaurant
Really good butter chicken here! It’s always full there for dinner, we sometimes get take away! One of the best Indian places to dine out anyway! Thank you!
Rang to book, mentioned the need for a high chair. Arrived to be (not even) greeted by a non-english speaking person. I said we had a booking, told her the name, we got ‘Yes?’ and repeatedly ‘Ok, how can I help?’ obviously the only few words she knew. I repeated myself in as many different ways possible, and got the same replies. We got nowhere. All I could do was laugh. Another woman came out and seated us. Looked at our daughter WEARING PINK and said ‘oh, he needs a high chair?’ . Yes SHE does! We were seated and told about the buffet. No thanks, just the menu will be fine. Came to take our order and repeated the buffet. No thanks. A la carte is all we are here for. Not sure if the message wasn’t clear enough in the first instance, but I had to repeat myself again.Food was good, and the man that finalised our payment was nice and spoke good English…but that’s all the stars are for. Work on your customer service! We won’t be returning.
A party in my mouth!! We went for the buffet and absolutely loved it. Everything was fresh and deliciously flavoured. Been looking for somewhere this yummy for a long time. Looking forward to visiting again, to try the a la carte menu :o)
The dinner banquets here are very economical. I am in love with the foods being served here. I would advise you to drop in here and avail the foods which are all in readiness for you.
