Market city tavern is where chefs go to die. I have never seen a salad bar looking so dismal in my entire life!! The desert bar was mixed with the salads. I ordered the mushroom fettuccini and the only good thing about the dish was the handmade pasta, I had to get things from the salad bar to add flavour!! There was no sauce let alone any salt and pepper.An old persons home would have more flavour in their meals.

The crackle wasn’t quite there but the flavour was great and so was the portion size.Fish and chips – The fish was tasty and the chips were piping hot and crispy.Salad Bar – not sure what the others are on about, saying it’s horrible – it’s not, it’s great.SERVICE:Spot on, no complaints here, really friendly staffAMBIANCE:Nothing special, but it’s clean and tidyPRICE:Fantastic prices for Perth, all mains include all you can eat salad bar and dessert.We will definately return.8/10
