The view when dining outside at Ramon’s, particularly for breakfast, is beautiful, and the service couldn’t be faulted. Unfortunately, the food let it down. While it was presented very nicely, I ordered the pancakes and they were quite raw in the middle, with batter oozing out. The poached eggs were also overcooked. The hostess was apologetic, letting the chef know about the pancakes and discounting our bill because of it. The view and service would probably bring us back again.
I find the quality of the food not matching the price they charge for it..the menu needs more variety and there are too many dishes with parmigiana in it I feel.
Thought we would try Willow Pond before booking a work function and glad with did. Unfortunately won’t be going back anytime soon. Unless you are a Senor you pretty much don’t exist. Overlooked by the waitstaff, not offered menus and asked to move tables after being told we could sit where we wanted and more importantly the food was nothing to write home about. All in all a very disappointing lunch break.
I had driven past and seen pictures on the internet. I wanted somewhere to take my family which was spacious and airy with peaceful surrounds. The restaurant certainly has this. We were seated in a spacious outdoor area covered with shade sails and overlooking the large koi filled pond and tall gardens. It took waytoo longto bring out food than we’d expect. However we received a discount on the overall bill. Of course, that lessened the negative thought of the restaurant. The steak, barramundi and chicken parmigiana dishes were wonderful. I would go as far as saying the pork belly dish was the best I’ve ever seen. It tasted sensational too. We also ordered a steak and chicken burger. A little simple and bland. The chips were well cooked and seasoned. The salad looked good but the dressing tasted like pure oil.The surroundings, service (especially rectifying an issue) and most meals were what makes this place.Perhaps some brush wood fencing or similar on surrounds would improve the garden view as opposed to the commercial buildings.
We wanted to give the suburbs a try and decided to go to Ramons for lunch. The food was not the best. I had the pork belly and wasn’t too impressed. It is not as crispy as I’d like it to be and didn’t justify the price.
I went here twice and I wasn’t impressed with the food at all.. my Caesar salad with chicken, was mostly lettuce and two tiny pieces of chicken. Location is great if sitting outside, but inside was old.
Staffs and GM are extremely rude and unprofessional in handling incident. They defo lack of proper training in service line. Don’t waste your time if you wanna have a great day
